Welcome to Nkechi Conversations — a space where education, culture, and storytelling converge.

I’m Nkechi, an educator, analyst, and creative thinker with a multi-disciplinary background that bridges technology and teaching. My journey began in the IT sector, where I worked as a Website Administrator, Business Analyst, Technical Documenter. With a Master’s-level university education and years of professional experience, I developed a deep appreciation for clarity, structure, and strategic communication.
In recent years, I pivoted toward education, earning my TEFL certification through the International TEFL Academy. Since then, I’ve taught English as a Second Language to adult learners across Europe, Africa, and Asia online. My most recent teaching role was in South Korea, where I worked in-class with early learners, elementary pupils, and honours-level students.
My ESL teaching spans Business English, Grammar, and Conversation Practice, but my future focus lies in:
- Debating — cultivating confident communicators through structured argument and critical thinking
- Book Analysis — guiding learners through literary exploration and thematic discussion
- Essay Writing — empowering students to express ideas with clarity and depth.
Nkechi Conversations is my platform to share insights, resources, and reflections across six core pillars:
- ESL Teaching
- Film Analysis
- Recipes and Food Stories
- Cultural Commentary
- Vintage Pride Magazine UK
- Journeys and Places
Each pillar reflects my commitment to education, cultural advocacy, and intentional storytelling.
